Meanwhile, another case has come to light in which Bundelkhand land, popular for diamond mines, is now extracting precious stones. There is a huge demand in South India for the stones coming out of here. Precious stones are coming out of the soil in Ishwarpur village, 77 km from Sagar district headquarters. The same stone is being sold for rs.100 to Rs.10,000.
The special thing is that people from all over the village have come to know about it and they have been selling these precious stones for a year. Traders up to Jabalpur, Indore are coming to buy them. While the administration is not even aware of it. In fact, precious Guria-like stones are being found in Ratan Thakur's farm at Village Panchayat Ishwarpur in Deori Vikaskhand in the district.
In the same big figure, the villagers are looking for stone-like cattle. The situation is that when traders come to buy them, people earn between Rs.2,000 and Rs.20,000 a day. People in Ishwarpur village say that similar bright precious stone Guria has been available in the 14-acre field for over a year. That is why most people leave hard work and take a giant shovel in the field and search for Guria till morning and evening. People dig out the land and take them out and then outside traders come to the village and take them at expensive prices.
