Grenade attack on security forces in Pulwama, three civilians injured

Jammu: In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces have once again been attacked by terrorists in Pulwama. In Pulwama, three persons were also injured in a grenade attack by terrorists at Rajpora Chowk. In fact, three persons were injured when a grenade was thrown at a police vehicle by terrorists near Rajpora Chowk in Pulwama city. An official said the suspected terrorist shrew a grenade at a police vehicle near Shaheed Park though the grenade exploded on the road itself.

According to reports received from the same officials, three passersby were injured in the attack and have been taken to a hospital for treatment. He said that at present, a search has been launched for the attackers who have reported the case and a cordon has been laid in the area to nab them. Earlier, three persons including two policemen were injured in a grenade attack on security forces in the Saraf Kadal area of Srinagar on August 19.

The officials had informed that the terrorists hurled a grenade at the security forces vehicle at Saraf Kadal in the old city at around 9.20 pm. He had said that two policemen and a civilian were injured in the accident after which the injured were taken to a hospital where their condition is stated to be stable.
