Where are we heading to? There are many ways to know it. Whether you get it or not everyone on this planet we 7.8 billion people in the world are travelers. Earth is not just a planet that revolves around the sun, this planet is on an interstellar journey, on Milkyway.

Astronomers call the direction of the Sun travels with respect to the local standard of rest is known as the "solar apex". The exact part of 'solar apex' is located southwest of the star Vega can be seen on a star map with neighboring constellation Lyra, The harp. While the sky deepens in mid-summer the Vega is seen with high brightness in the east. Hercules is right overhead because it gets dark in July and seen from the north-north latitude. The sun orbits in the galaxy along with many other billions of stars forming the Milky Way. The scene is unique in every way. Our galaxy is spiral in shape, the estimated diameter is 100,000 light-years with such a wide diameter,  light takes years to travel from one place to another. Many other estimations are made for the time taken by Sun to complete this journey. There is a specific estimate that it takes 230 million years to complete this process. The speed is around 140 miles per second. If you live for 100 years, then the sun must have traveled 122,640,000 miles.
