Chandigarh: A disgusting case of shaming blood relations has come to light in Jind district of Haryana. Aleva police station of the district has registered a case against a person for raping his six-year-old granddaughter. Mahila Thana Police has started investigation by registering a case against the accused grandfather under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and POCSO Act on the complaint of the victim's mother.
Based on the complaint given by the girl's mother, the police have said that on April 1, all the people of the house had gone out and the grandparents were alone in the house. He told that during this time the accused grandfather, taking undue advantage of this, raped the girl and also threatened to kill her if she told anyone about it. However, when the mother returned home, the girl told her the whole thing, after which a complaint was lodged with the police.
The police have registered a case against the accused grandfather after conducting a medical test of the girl child. Prem Kumari, the investigating officer of the Mahila Police Station, has informed that the accused is taking further action by registering a case against Dada and soon the accused will be arrested.
