New Delhi: Today, Enforcement Directorate Department has asked all the zonal units to deposit new notes and seized currency in the bank accounts opened by agencies in all the cities. So, that the currency can be in circulation.
"We have been depositing these currency notes in our bank accounts so that they come into circulation and the general public is not inconvenienced," Director Karnal Singh said.
Government even asked the I-T Department to deposit the money in banks.
