Amidst the ongoing lockdown in India, the news of illegal liquor business is coming to the fore. Once again, illegal liquor brought from Arunachal Pradesh in Andhra Pradesh has been seized. The Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) has detained one person and seized more than 5,000 bottles of liquor illegally taken from Arunachal Pradesh in the state.

Acting on a secret information on Friday, the Special Enforcement Bureau raided Manthena village and seized liquor cans hidden in a stack. Saibi Additional Superintendent of Police Moka Sattibabu said, "SEB has received reliable information. Acting on it, we have seized liquor illegally brought from Arunachal Pradesh. We seized 142 cases of Royal Stag and Imperial Blue brand liquor. A total of 5,172 bottles have been seized. All these bottles cost more than Rs 20 lakh.'

In his statement, he said that we will register an FIR and start investigation and whoever is behind it will not be spared. Legal action will be taken against them. At present, we have detained one.
