New Delhi: The BJP has made an undeclared policy of keeping leaders above the age of 75 years out of active politics. Due to this, many veteran leaders including Lal Krishna Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi are outside the Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha and are members of the guide board. On this, SP's Rajya Sabha member Ram Gopal Yadav said on Thursday that BJP should bring such leaders above 75 years of age, who are healthy. He said that such experienced leaders can increase our knowledge.

On the occasion of thanking the 72 members retiring after completing their tenure in the House, Prof. Ram Gopal Yadav said that very senior members come to this house. But those who have completed 75 years of age in the BJP have now been stopped from being sent to the House. He has said that such senior leaders of BJP should also be brought into the house, who are completely healthy even after completing 75 years and can make the house proud with their experience.

Ram Gopal Yadav while talking to Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu said that he would also agree with his view. However, Naidu did not comment on this. While congratulating the members who have completed their tenure, he said that some of these MPs will come back, but some members will not be able to come, but it is expected that wherever they live, they will continue to serve the country and society with their experience.
