New Delhi: Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal had recently termed Vivek Agnihotri's film 'The Kashmir Files' as false in the assembly. Since then, he has been facing criticism from all sides for making fun of the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus. On Wednesday (30 March 2022), two protests were also held outside the CM's residence in protest against this statement. One demonstration was of BJYM and the other was performed by Kashmiri Pandits under the banner of India 4 Kashmir. After this, posters were also pasted in protest outside the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) headquarters at midnight on Wednesday.

Delhi BJP spokesperson Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga pasted this poster outside the AAP headquarters. He has also shared a video of it on Twitter. In this, a poster is seen near the AAP headquarters. It is written on it that, 'Listen Kejriwal. What you tell a false film is our painful history. Kejriwal had refused to make 'The Kashmir Files' tax-free in the state, terming 'The Kashmir Files' as a false movie. On 24 March 2022, he also laughed loudly while speaking in the assembly about the film, which was seen as rubbing salt on the wounds of Kashmiri Hindus. Since then there have been protests against him. Earlier, in a tweet on Wednesday, Bagga wrote that If asking to apologize for Kejriwal's statement on the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus is anti-social, then yes we are anti-social elements. Kejriwal thinks of Batla House terrorists and Professor Nivedita as role models and we are anti-social elements, so we are anti-social elements.

On Wednesday (30 March 2022), Kashmiri Pandits also demonstrated outside Kejriwal's house. During this, the protesters shouted 'Shame, shame those who laughed at Girija ji', '7 lakh had been driven away, 70 lakh would be settled', 'WE WANT JUSTICE', 'Some were cut, some were burnt, were driven from their homes. Slogans like, 'That Kashmir is ours' Where Girija was sacrificed', 'That Kashmir is ours' Where Taplu ji was sacrificed', protested against Kejriwal.
