Mumbai: The stock market opened with an increase on Monday. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex opened 74 points strong at 40,434 at the start of trading. Experts say that the developments in Maharashtra will also have an impact on the stock market today. By 10.45 in the morning, the Sensex was found to be trading at 40643 with a strength of 283 points.

Heavy fall in gold and silver price

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty opened 7 points higher at 11,922. By 11.15 am, the Nifty rose by 76 points to 11,990. In the beginning of the business, 592 stocks saw an increase and 238 stocks declined. Reliance, HDFC, Bharti Airtel and Infosys have energized the market, while there has been tremendous buying in bank shares.

The main gainers included Bharti Infratel, Bharti Airtel, Titan, Ultratech Cement, Infosys, RIL, Vedanta, Tata Steel, and JSW Steel, while Zee Entertainment, ONGC, BPCL, and Tata Motors declined. Apart from metal, infra and IT, all other sectors are doing business in green mark. It is being told by experts that given the political situation of Maharashtra, there can be a lot of ups and downs in the market.
