Indore: Educational activities have also been affected due to the lockdown. To bring educational activities back on track, the committee has submitted a report to the Raj Bhavan. Academy calendar has also been given regarding the new session. It has suggested starting classes in college and university from 20 August. According to the guidelines issued from the UGC, the session has been kept from September 1. According to the calendar, the emphasis is on conducting semester examinations from 25 December. The first semester of the session will be 120 days this time.

A committee of five Vice Chancellors has given a report to Governor Lalji Tandon. On this, the members have also made a calendar. According to the committee, classes will be held from August 20. The first internal assignment is to be given to institutions between 15–23 September and the second project between 20–29 October. While the time for practical examination is kept between 25 November to 5 December. Semester examinations are to be conducted from 25 December to 15 January.

Government did such work with regard to medical fees

According to the rules, the semester remains 180 days, but due to coronavirus and lockdown, its duration has been reduced to fix the deteriorated system. After the completion of 90 days semester examinations can be held. The committee has not shown haste in the result. It has kept a period of 15 February. The committee has reduced semester break holidays in this session to improve the system. This is the reason that students will start classes for the next semester immediately after the exam by 15 January.
