New Delhi: The process of getting Indian citizenship to Hindu refugees from Pakistan has started. Today seven Pakistani Hindu refugees have been granted citizenship in Gujarat. Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya gave him a certificate of citizenship in Kutch. These people have come from Pakistan to take refuge in Gujarat after being tortured.

Earlier, a woman from Pakistan in Gujarat has been given citizenship of India. Hasina Ben, who returned to India from Pakistan and came to India, applied for citizenship of India two years ago. After which he has now been granted citizenship by the Government of India. Hasina Ben was originally from India. But after marriage in 1999, she moved to Pakistan. Her husband died while living in Pakistan, after which she decided to return to India.

Two years ago, Hasina applied for citizenship of India. Now on December 18, 2019, he has been granted a certificate of Indian citizenship by the Government of India. Hasina Ben in Dwarka district of Gujarat wrote a letter to the Collector seeking Indian citizenship. Hasina Ben was awarded a Certificate of Indian Citizenship on behalf of Dwarka Collector Dr. Narendra Kumar Meena.
