ShahidKapoor unveils Kabir Singh to be the title of 2017 Arjun Reddy Hindi remake

Shahid Kapoor has started shooting for Sandeep Vanga's Hindi remake of his 2017 Telugu movie Arjun Reddy at one of the Mumbai locations. Today the Padmavat actor took to his Instagram account to share the first poster of his upcoming movie. Notably The Hindi remake of Telugu hit movie Arjun Reddy is titled as Kabir Singh. The original movie was set in Hyderabad and Bangalore and  while its Hindi remake targets all over India and tells the story based on Mumbai and Delhi. Look out the Shahi’s post here -

Talking about the titular role a source told Mumbai Mirror that the central character is a Punjabi like Shahid who is best suited for the part because he emulates both power and weakness. Shahid is known for getting under the skin of a character in industry and he has been prepping since the last two months, for this role. He has grown his hair and beard for this.

It is noted that Sandeep Vanga finalized the name while scripting the Hindi remake. The movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Ashwin Varde and Murad Khetani. Shahid Kapoor for the movie will share the screen with Kiara Advani. Both were recently seen in the recreated version of famous song Urvashi.
