Kochi: A sensational revelation has come to light regarding Shahrukh Saifi, the accused who burned three people alive in the Kozhikode train in Kerala. According to the report, officials have told that Shahrukh is extremely radical, and he is a blind follower of fugitive Islamic preacher Zakir Naik. Let us tell you that Zakir Naik is absconding after leaving the country after an investigation on charges of promoting terrorism and is converting people in Islamic countries.

The Kerala Police said on Sunday that a case has been registered under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) against 27-year-old Shahrukh Saifi, a resident of Delhi's Shaheen Bagh, for setting fire to the Kannur-bound Executive Express train on April 2. Kerala ADGP MR Ajit Kumar said that Shah Rukh Saifi had come to Kerala with the intention of committing the crime. He told that the police have collected all the evidence regarding Shahrukh Saifi, the accused in that incident. In this fire, 3 people aboard the train were burned alive, and 8 others were injured.

Additional Director General of Police MR. Ajith Kumar, who heads the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in Kozhikode, has informed the media that Saifi is a highly radicalised person. He is following videos of Zakir Naik, accused of spreading hatred and inciting youth to become terrorists. The ADGP said, 'We have collected all the evidence related to his crime. Saifi is continuously watching videos of fugitive Zakir Naik. He is a dangerous radical and had come to Kerala with a strong motive to commit the crime.
