Producer Asit Kumarr Modi is being sued by Shailesh Lodha for unpaid wages .Could anyone ever fathom Shailesh Lodha, the show's protagonist, leaving Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah? That occurred in April of last year and caused a major uproar. The actor apparently took the severe action because of his disputes with producer Asit Kumarr Modi, despite his refusal to speak out on the subject. According to recent rumors, he has sued the production company for unpaid debts.
Asit Modi and Lodha had a falling out, and Lodha departed the program. We previously reported that Lodha had been awaiting more than six months to pay his over a year old debts. The most recent information we have is that Lodha has opted to seek legal assistance.

According to what we have learned, Lodha sued Modi's production firm and filed a lawsuit against him for unpaid debts in the first week of March. In response to Modi's inability to pay his obligations, the Waah Bhai Waah host contacted the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and started a corporate bankruptcy resolution under section 9. May is the scheduled date for the hearing.

Asked about the case, Sohil Ramani added, “We are not pursuing any case, because we did not refuse to give his payment. We have already informed sir (Lodha) to take his dues and sign the required papers.”

Modi on the other hand excused himself from commenting on the matter, citing he is travelling. Soon, we were contacted by Sohil Ramani, project head, TMKOC, who said, “There isn’t much to say that hasn’t been said earlier. Shailesh Lodha has been like a family only. When he left we respected that. And on numerous occasions through email and on telephone we have requested him to come to the office to sign all required paperwork and take his remaining numeration. Never have we denied or refused to pay him. Every employer requires departing employees to sign all final paperwork before full remuneration is disbursed. What is the problem? Isn't it preferable to simply follow the standard procedure than to go about whining? Ramani responded, "We are not pursuing any action, because we did not refuse to release his payment, when you asked him how they intended to proceed with the matter. We have already requested that Sir Lodha pay his debts and sign the necessary documents.
