Thereafter, the panchayat, while pronouncing a strange decree, said that the victim's family can get rid of the body by paying 70 thousand rupees to the victim. Thereafter, a social organization came forward, took the girl to the police station and filed a case.

According to the girl's mother, after the scolding, the girl had left the house. Due to this, the search for the minor Mahadalit girl started. After that, it came to the fore that she was in her maternal grandmother's house. Thereafter, the girl told everything to the family members.
