New Delhi: Legendary Australian spinner Shane Warne has reacted to India's next captain. He has suggested some surprising names about test captaincy. The biggest question at the moment is who will take Team India forward after Virat Kohli. After Kohli suddenly quit the Test captaincy, the BCCI is in a quandary over the selection of the next Test captain. Veteran spinner Warne has explained why wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant can't become the captain of Team India. He has suggested a unique name as india's next captain.
Shane Warne said, "India is very lucky that they have so many different options that can captain the team. For me, Jasprit Bumrah can do that, but I think Rohit will continue to be the captain for the next few years and Bumrah can continue as vice-captain. As a captain, I don't like a wicketkeeper. I think a wicketkeeper can be a good vice-captain, but never a captain.
"That's how I see it, but India has a lot of options. Rahane will be fantastic. However, recently there has been a slight decline in his form. We saw what a great job he did in Australia when Virat went home last season. We know he can do a good job in tests. '
