New Delhi: Veteran Australian spinner Shane Warne on Tuesday slammed over the Delhi Capital (DC) spinner's R Ashwin dispute with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Eoin Morgan during IPL match, saying the DC's act on the field was shameful. Warne tweeted that ''The world shouldn’t be divided on this topic and Ashwin. It’s pretty simple - it’s disgraceful & should never happen. Why does Ashwin have to be that guy again? I think Eoin had every right to nail him.''

In fact, Ashwin and Morgan had a heated exchange during the KKR vs DC match in IPL 2021 on Tuesday. When Ashwin got out to Tim Southee, Southee said something to him. Ashwin then got agitated. Meanwhile, KKR captain Morgan also said something to him when Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant came in the middle of the fight. KKR wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik finally had to defend in the middle after four players jumped into the fight.

Ashwin then appeared to celebrate it shouting when he dismissed Morgan for a duck. KKR captain Morgan also admitted that in view of the nature of the competition and the hot weather conditions, things could flare up on some occasions. Though not much of a contribution from the bat at the individual level, Morgan was quite happy with his team's victory. Morgan said, "Both sides played a tough match. Things can brew on a hot day.
