Mumbai: NCP supremo Sharad Pawar and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis came together in the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) elections. Amol Kale, who was contesting the association elections, was supported by both leaders. There is now a lot of speculation in the political corridors about this. RPI leader Union Minister Ramdas Athawale has also added fuel to the fire.  

Union Minister Athawale said that Sharad Pawar has bowled a googly to former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Talking to the media, Athawale said- Nothing can be dismissed in politics. Both Sharad Pawar and Devendra Fadnavis are good players. I have been saying for a long time that both of them know their game well. Anything can happen in politics anytime. Asked if the two leaders met only over the MCA elections, the RPI leader said it was a political googly. Uddhav Thackeray will be bowled once again with this googly. First Eknath Shinde got him out and now Pawar will get him out.  

Asked if NCP leaders say the party keeps politics and sports separate, Athawale said Pawar and NDA should come together and come together with Narendra Modi. Why should he be there when I'm here? That's not right. Earlier, the Congress has also said that the BJP has withdrawn its candidate only after Sharad Pawar spoke in the by-election to the Andheri seat in Mumbai. However, the NCP has said that the association of Sharad Pawar and Devendra Fadnavis is limited to sports and there is nothing to fall into.
