Pawar has said that he will leave the post of NCP chief. 82-year-old Maratha satrap Sharad Pawar has made this announcement at a time when news of split in NCP is coming to the fore for the past few days. There were reports that Ajit Pawar, Sharad Pawar's nephew, may become a part of the Shinde-Fadnavis government along with several NCP MLAs.
