Bangalore: In Karnataka, the BJP had prominently placed the issue of Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in its resolution letter, under which the BJP had talked about making the same law for all Indians. Now Congress has also released its manifesto. In response to the BJP, the Congress has compared the Hindutva organization Bajrang Dal with the banned organization Popular Front of India (PFI). Congress has promised that if its government is formed, it will ban Bajrang Dal. Along with this, the Congress has also promised to restore the 4 percent Muslim reservation abolished by the BJP government during its election campaign.  

BJP trying to polarize

The Congress has alleged that the ruling BJP is trying to polarize the state. The Congress, on the other hand, is determined to work for people of all religions and classes. The Congress has said in its manifesto that strict action will be taken against any organization that spreads hatred on the basis of religion and caste in the society and it will be banned if the party forms the government. It said that there are other organizations like PFI and Bajrang Dal, which promote enmity and hatred. Such organizations will be banned and strict action will be taken against them. 

3000 for graduate and 2000 rupees per month for women: -

In its manifesto, the Congress has reiterated 5 major guarantees. The party's manifesto states that up to 200 units of free electricity will be provided to each family under the Griha Jyoti Yojana. 3000 to unemployed graduate youth and Rs. 1500 to diploma holders will be provided per month through Yuva Nidhi. At the same time, under Bhagya Yojana, every poor family will be given 10 kg ration per month. Apart from this, Rs 2,000 per month will be provided to the female head of the family.
