The Shardiya Navratri Festival begins on 17th October. The nine-day festival is a festival of worship of Maa Shakti. In Navratri, nine forms of Maa Durga are worshipped. This Navratri comes in Chaturmas and Manglik works are not done in Chaturmas. But many auspicious works are done during Navratri. According to the Scriptures, Navratri is of nine days in which any auspicious work can be done without seeing any muhurta. On the occasion of Sharadiya Navratri, most people enter their new home. According to the Scriptures, it is believed that entering the house during Navratri brings happiness and prosperity at home. 

These things must be kept in mind when entering the home:-

-You must keep the urn together while entering the new house. Place the mango leaf in the urn. Do not forget to make a swastika mark with red color on the urn.

-You must take a coconut, turmeric, jaggery, Akshat with the urn while entering the house at Navratri.

-When entering the house, the husband and wife should enter together. When entering the new house, the husband should put his right foot forward and the wife should enter with the left foot. It brings happiness and prosperity.

-When entering the house, the statue of Lord Ganesha, the Dakshanal conch, and the Shriyantra should be set in the house.

-An urn full of water must be kept in the north-east direction of the new house.

-Spray Gangajal, turmeric, and rice in every corner of the house.

-Keep a piece of jaggery at the moment of home entry into the kitchen of the new house. This eliminates the architectural defect of the house.

-On the day of home entry into the same new house, you must go to a nearby temple and make some donations to the poor after the vision of God.

-The Brahmins who have come to worship at home admission must give food and charity dakshana.

-When entering the house at Navratri, it is auspicious to have Durga Saptakti and Ramchanrit Manas at home.

-These things should be taken care of in particular during Navratri, which gives more benefits.
