New Delhi: As the date of the election for the post of National President of Congress is approaching, the stir in the party is also increasing. Meanwhile, Presidential candidate Shashi Tharoor has claimed that big leaders are campaigning for Mallikarjun Kharge, but no one is coming for him. On this, he said that the Congress high command should take action against those who do this.

Shashi Tharoor is in Bhopal today i.e. on Friday (October 14). During this, Tharoor said that it is up to the CEA President of Congress to take action on this. He said that the party leadership had clearly said that no office-bearer should campaign for any candidate. But, still Congress leaders are campaigning for Kharge. Let us tell you that this statement of Tharoor has come on the Twitter post of Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, in which he appealed to vote in favour of Mallikarjun Kharge.

Gehlot had said through a video, 'I hope all the delegates will succeed Mallikarjun Kharge with an overwhelming majority. Later Kharge will guide all of us and Congress will emerge stronger and emerge as the opposition. This is my thought, I wish Kharge sahib success with huge votes.' Let me tell you that earlier Tharoor had said that some leaders have done such things, to which I said that these are not equal opportunities. He said that it was seen in many state Congress committees that the PCC chief, Legislature Party leaders and big leaders welcome Kharge, whereas this has never happened to me.

Tharoor alleged that such things have happened in many PCCs in the past. At the same time, regarding the Gandhi family, Tharoor said that if we talk about equal opportunities, do you think there is no difference in the way he is being treated? He also said that neutrality has already been talked about in the Gandhi family and at the top level, so everyone should vote on their own in this election, as it is a secret ballot.
