He said "Bharat ka khati hain, Bharat ka gayein. Aasteen ka saanp na banein [If India feeds her, she should side with the country. She should not bite the hand that feeds her],". It comes after Mehbooba Mufti said that Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan deserved a chance following his comments at a press conference.

she said in a tweet "Pakistan PM deserves a chance since he’s recently taken over," Pakistan PM Imran Khan in a press conference on Tuesday had said that Pakistan would retaliate if Indian attacked the country. Imran Khan had said "Pakistan won’t think about retaliating, it will retaliate,".He also addressed the Indian government and said, "My statement is for the Indian government. It is worth mentioning here that shortly after Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan warned India against launching a military action in the wake of the deadly Pulwama terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, former state chief minister and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday batted for the neighbouring country. While taking to Twitter, Mufti wrote that while it was time for Pakistan to walk the talk, she added that Imran Khan deserved a chance as he had only recently taken over as the prime minister of the country. She also slammed the war oratory in India in view of the massacre of 40 CRPF men, saying the same had more to do with the upcoming Lok Sabha elections than anything else.
