Shefali Shah is one of the actresses who is famous for her realistic acting. The actress gained all the love and recognization from OTT platforms. The actress has worked in ‘Delhi Crime’, ‘Jalsa’ and ‘Human’ among many others, aces in culinary arts as well. The actress in a recent interview recalls her struggling days.
The actress said, "I was brought up in Santa Cruz, but actually we moved a lot of houses. I come from a lower-middle-class family. When I was growing up, my dad's job at RBI wasn't permanent yet. So we didn't have a permanent home. There were times when he would request my uncle or someone to let me and my mom stay there. I was very little, I don't remember a lot of it. And then he would stay in a garage or with colleagues or friends. So that was Vakola (Santacruz East)."
The actress further said, “ Then there was Mahim...the Fisherman Colony there. And at that Fisherman Colony, there was my uncle, my aunt, dad, mom, and me. And it was a kholi, with a kitchen, and the bathroom, which was I think three times or four times a car.”
The actress in an another interview speaking about the love she is getting said, “It is overwhelming. Humbling. With so much love and it feels good that all the hard work that I have put in becoming all these characters have reached across all the audiences. It’s acknowledged and appreciated…”
On the work front, Shefali Shah was last seen in the second season of the Netflix series Delhi Crimes, in which she plays DCP Vartika Chaturvedi. She will be next seen in Anubhuti Kashyap's Doctor G alongside Ayushmann Khurrana and Rakul Preet Singh.
