Shimla: After two-and-a-half-year political tensions and the end of the Model Code of Conduct, a cabinet meeting will be held on Saturday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jairam Thakur. A status report on cabinet's decision from October 1 will be presented in the meeting.

According to the information, the cabinet all committee constituted to give 10% reservation to one upper caste in the center of the meeting can submit its report, after which the Cabinet can approve the template to implement it on the basis of this report. The approval of the state government's plan for the operation of hospitals with private participation at the remote places of the state can also be approved after discussion. Filling in vacancies in many departments can also be decided.

According to information received from the sources, Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, who has complained of taking tough decisions due to Lok Sabha elections, can appear in the new incarnation after these elections. More than 3400 Primary Assistant Teachers (Pat), appointed in government schools in the state, can get a gift of honorarium increase in the Cabinet meeting. While issuing the notification on March 8, the Jairam Government had announced to pay minimum pay band, grade pay and 144 per cent allowance.
