Mumbai: On Thursday, Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray described the Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government as a "government of fraudsters". At the same time, Aaditya Thackeray claimed that this government will fall soon. After the fall of the Uddhav Thackeray government, Aaditya Thackeray was addressing a rally at Patan in the Satara district for an outreach ceremony.

The former Maharashtra cabinet minister said, "Betrayal has been coming to the fore in Maharashtra since June 20. It is a government of fraudsters, it is an unauthorized, unconstitutional Government and it will fall. He ridiculed the Shinde faction's claim that their rebellion against the Shiv Sena leadership made headlines in 33 countries.'' The former minister said, "It takes courage to revolutionize and revolt, but these people do not have that.'' Referring to his father's spine surgery while he was CM, Aditya said, "Because of his surgery, people in the country came to know that politicians also have a spine. Let us know that earlier also Aaditya Thackeray has described the Shinde government as a "government of fraudsters."

The same Eknath Shinde had revolted with 26 rebel Shiv Sena MLAs, after which, the number of MLAs increased to about 40 and along with the BJP formed the government in Maharashtra. Shinde has become the Chief Minister and Devendra Fadnavis is the Deputy Chief Minister in this government. On the other hand, about a dozen Shiv Sena MPs have joined the Shinde faction in the Lok Sabha. Now that the fight between the Uddhav and Shinde factions has come to the party, both the factions have staked claim to it in the Election Commission, though the matter is also pending in the Supreme Court.
