New Delhi: Veteran BJP leader and former Union minister Subramanian Swamy on Wednesday (August 3) slammed former prime ministers, Jawaharlal Nehru and Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Subramanian Swamy has said that because of his "stupidity", Indians have accepted that Tibet and Taiwan are part of China. Swamy, a former BJP Rajya Sabha MP, said that now China does not even respect the mutually agreed Line of Actual Control (LAC) and has taken over parts of Ladakh.

Subramanian Swamy hit out at PM Narendra Modi, saying that while China has occupied parts of Ladakh, Modi says that no one has come. His statement is shocking. Subramanian Swamy tweeted, "It was because of the stupidity of Nehru and ABV (Atal Bihari Vajpayee) that we Indians accepted Tibet and Taiwan as part of China. But now China does not even respect the mutually agreed LAC and grabs parts of Ladakh.'' At the same time, Modi stuns by saying "no one has come". China should know that we have elections to decide.

Let me tell you that Subramanian Swamy is known to surround his own government. Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi are also not as victims of his sharp statements as PM Narendra Modi is. Subramanian Swamy's recent statement also comes amid US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan even after repeated "warnings" by China, which could have an impact on India as well.
