Mumbai: Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation(BMC) election results have drowned Devendra Fadnavis in the pool of problems. Sources say that Congress is planning to take the advantage of this situation by swiping off the Bharatiya Janata Party from the BMC government.

As per the source, Congress appealed to Shiv Sena for the meeting, in which leaders discussed to eliminate the BJP leader Fadnavis from the leadership and establish Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress government.

However, in Maharashtra's 228 assembly seats BJP have 122 legislatures, Shiv Sena 63, Congress have 42 and NCP have 41 legislatures, while 20 legislatures are granted to others.
