Shiv Sena praises CM Mamata Banerjee, know why?

Mumbai: Shiv Sena, an ally of the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi, has lauded West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee last Thursday. In fact, Mamata Banerjee has set up a commission to look into the Pegasus snoop gate that shook other countries, including India. In view of this, Mamata Banerjee's work is now being discussed everywhere. Let me tell all of you that while criticizing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the Centre for not paying heed to the opposition's demand of a JPC to probe the Spygate scam, Shiv Sena has justified Mamata Banerjee's move.

Shiv Sena has written in the newspaper Saamna, "It is a shameless move to keep an eye on the personal lives of ministers, opposition, judiciary, journalists, lawyers, and other citizens.'' At the same time, the editorial also states, "The whole matter relates to the national security of the country, as only a handful of organizations like IB, RAW, CBI, ED, NCB, CBCD, etc. Now, if an Israeli agency like Pegasus enters this scenario, it could undermine the country's security, but it seems the Centre is giving it national shelter. The country deserves to know the truth.''

Moreover, Shiv Sena has written, "It was expected that the Centre would take strict action and set up an inquiry commission, but nothing has been done. Incidentally, just two days ago, Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole Party MP Suresh Balubhau Dhanorkar had strongly demanded chief minister Uddhav Thackeray set up a commission of retired judges to probe the spyware scam. Not only that, but the editorial also pointed out that other countries like France have also announced an inquiry into the Pegasus scam, but still the Government of India does not consider the matter serious- it seems a little mysterious.''
