Shiv Sena picks Urmila Matondkar for Legislative Council seat

Mumbai: Film actress Urmila Matondkar will be given the Legislative Council ticket from the quota of Maharashtra's ruling party Shiv Sena. According to sources, Urmila Matondkar can be made MLC on the Shiv Sena ticket from the quota appointed as governor. It is being told that CM Uddhav Thackeray himself called Urmila Matondkar and talked about it.

It is noteworthy that in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Urmila Matondkar has contested from the North Mumbai Parliamentary seat on a Congress ticket. Recently, Urmila Matondkar attacked Kangana in the battle between Kangana Ranaut and Maharashtra government. On the other hand, Urmila Matondkar had said during an interview in the Upper House of MP and actress Jaya Bachchan on her statement during Zero Hour that Kangana should remember that Jaya Bachchan is in the film industry when Kangana Was not born

Along with this, Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar also said that the whole country is facing the threat of drugs and Kangana Ranaut also knows very well that drugs come out of her home state of Himachal Pradesh.
