Former Cricketer Shivnarine Chanderpaul's son Tagenarine Chanderpaul has been included in the West Indies team for the first time. He has been included in the team for the Test series. At the same time, in 268 ODIs, Chanderpaul has scored 8,778 runs for the West Indies, in which he has scored 11 centuries and 59 half-centuries. He also played 22 T20 matches for the West Indies, for which he has 343 runs to his name. He announced his retirement in 2016. After 6 years, his son has now entered the team. The 26-year-old Tagenarine has got an entry into the team due to his brilliant performance in first-class cricket. Shivnarayan's son has so far scored 5 centuries in first-class cricket. Tagenarine has scored 2,669 runs in 92 innings of 50 matches in first-class cricket so far. During this time, 5 centuries and 10 fifties have come out of his bat.  

In fact, Tagenarine had performed well in the 2021-22 season of the recently held four-day championship. That's why he has been included in the team. In this championship, Tagenarine scored 439 runs at an impressive average of 73.16, including a career-best score of 184 for Guyana against Jamaica. He scored an unbeaten 109 in a four-day match against Bangladesh A in August. That is, overall Tagenarine is in tremendous form at this time.
