New Delhi: South Africa will present the next challenge in front of India, the only team to win two consecutive matches in the T20 World Cup 2022, on Sunday, October 30. If Team India wins this match, then they will be very close to qualifying for the semi-finals. In the first two matches, Virat Kohli looked in amazing form, while Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav also scored the fifties against the Netherlands. In the batting order, only vice-captain KL Rahul has failed for Team India so far. Rahul could not do anything special against the Netherlands after Pakistan.

After his poor performance, there was a discussion in the corridors of cricket whether the team management could give Rishabh Pant a chance in playing XI against South Africa instead of Rahul. Rishabh Pant is part of Team India in the T20 World Cup, but so far he has not got a chance in his playing XI. When asked this question by the Indian team's batting coach Vikram Rathour in the press conference before the match against South Africa, he said that the team is not thinking of anything like this. Vikram Rathore has said, 'No, no we are not thinking like this. There have been only two matches now. Rahul is batting well and he also batted well in the practice match. So we are not thinking about any such thing right now.'

On October 6, Team India reached Australia for the T20 World Cup. Coming here, India first played two practice matches against Western Australia. Both these matches were played in Perth, so India is familiar with the conditions in this place. In such a situation, India will not have much problem with South Africa. Vikram Rathor said that the team knew that the match against South Africa would be important, due to which the team decided to come to Perth and practice.
