Bhopal: The Shivraj government in Madhya Pradesh has planned to give a big gift to old pilgrims. From May 21, the Madhya Pradesh government will take old pilgrims to various pilgrimage centres at government expense. Yatra is starting in Madhya Pradesh under the CM Teerthdarshan Yojana, under which till now old pilgrims were taken to the pilgrimage centres of the country by train, but this time Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced that now the pilgrims will be taken to the pilgrimage centres by plane. Will be delivered. The government also issued an order in this regard on Thursday.

Elders above 65 years of age will get the most benefit from this scheme. The district administration will make the forms available in the collectorate office, tehsil office, and district offices and will also get them submitted. 32 eligible pilgrims will be selected from each district. 33 seats in the plane going to pilgrimage places will be reserved for the passengers applying under the CM Teerth Darshan Yojana, in which there will be 32 pilgrims, and one seat will be for a monitoring officer sent by the district administration. If more than 32 applications are received in any district, eligible pilgrims will be selected by drawing a lottery through a computerised method under the supervision of the collector.

The same airport from where the pilgrims will be taken, the pilgrims will be brought back to the same airport. The accommodation, food, and drink arrangements for the pilgrims will be under the package of the IRCTC. There will be no separate food arrangement for the pilgrims inside the plane. Pilgrims will be able to carry luggage up to 15 kg in their check-in bag and up to 7 kg in their handbag. If you carry more baggage than this limit, then excess baggage charges will be levied at the airport. You have to reach the airport 3 hours before the scheduled time. Narmadapuram, Neemuch, Damoh, Ratlam, Shajpur, Sagar, Ujjain, Khandwa, Barwani, Burhanpur, Khargone, Bhopal, Indore, Alirajpur, Dhar, Rajgarh, Raisen, Sehore, Jhabua, Vidisha, Agar-Malwa, Betul, Dewas, Harda, and the elderly pilgrims of Mandsaur district will get the opportunity to do their pilgrimage by plane in the first phase.
