If all goes well, the new Chief Minister of the state can be sworn in on 25 March. According to party sources, an agreement has been reached in the name of former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and he will take charge as the Chief Minister of the state for the fourth time. Earlier in the evening or late night of 24 March, Chauhan will be elected as the leader in the formal meeting of the BJP Legislature Party. After this, he will present the claim of formation of a new government to Governor Lalji Tandon.

For your information, let us tell you that the preparations for the party were on the first Monday to call a meeting of the Legislature Party, but due to Coronavirus, it was pushed forward due to public curfew and lockdown. The party has not yet made a formal announcement to make Shivraj the leader, but according to highly placed sources, the high command has made up his mind to hand over the command. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had twice a conversation with Shivraj Singh Chauhan on the issue of Corona on Sunday. In this, he has also asked Chauhan to keep in touch with the administration. The second reason is that the issue of coordination will be important in running the government being formed due to the support of Scindia, so the party will benefit from Chauhan's experience.

On this matter, party sources said that the party has decided not to do any kind of pranks in the swearing-in ceremony to be held on March 25. The oath will be administered with simplicity in the presence of selected people. It is known that Kamal Nath resigned on March 18 after the government came to a minority.
