Panaji: Former Madhya Pradesh CM and veteran BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan cordoned off the congress' top leadership over Section 370. He said, I don't think former Congress President Rahul Gandhi will speak on the issue of Section 370 as he has become Ranchod Das (deserter) Gandhi. He said when Rahul Gandhi was the Congress President, the party's responsibility to strengthen it after losing the elections was on his shoulders but he did not do so.
Bjp National Vice President Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Sunday that the Congress is breaking down the bravery of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government's bravery to abolish Section 370. Shivraj Singh Chouhan was addressing Goa workers under the BJP's All India Membership Mission. He said the ruling party expects UPA Chairman Sonia Gandhi to clarify the Congress' view on the recent developments in Jammu and Kashmir as Rahul Gandhi has already left the battle.
Chouhan dubbed former Congress president Rahul Gandhi “‘Ranchhod Das (deserter) Gandhi” for “abandoning” the party after its successive debacles in the Lok Sabha elections. Last week, the Congress Working Committee appointed Sonia Gandhi as the interim president.
