Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is scheduled to visit Khandwa today. In fact, he will interact with the beneficiaries of CM Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) there. 6.27 crore will be disbursed to 79,039 beneficiaries of the scheme. In addition, Bhoomi pujan of the residence of 50,253 beneficiaries will also be performed by the CM. Under the information received, all municipal groups will be virtually connected to the CM's programme and the CM's programme will be held at 1 pm. Now, today, one lakh 29 thousand 292 beneficiaries of 363 groups of Khandwa will get the benefit of PM Awas Yojana (Urban).

You must be aware that Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) in 2015 with the objective of providing pucca housing to every citizen of the country. So far, 8 lakh 37 thousand houses have been sanctioned in the state under the scheme and out of these, 3 lakh 33 thousand houses have been completed. On the other hand, Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupinder Singh will also join the program today. Tell you that under this scheme, a subsidy is also available to those who buy houses or flats on loans.

Know how to get a subsidy- For this, CLSS (credit-linked subsidy) is provided to the beneficiary on a home loan on registration under PM Awas Yojana. Yes and maximum 2 beneficiaries under this subsidy. A discount of Rs.67 lakhs is provided. Whoever wants to avail this scheme should not have a pucca house. At the same time, the applicant should not be a beneficiary of any Government scheme. On the other hand, the annual income of the applicant for applying in the EWS category should not exceed Rs. 3 lakh.
