Gwalior: Madhya Pradesh Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar is often in the news for his peculiar and out-of-the-box style of working. On Monday night, when he went to see the patients in the camp for a cataract operation, he did not return to his house again at night, but he stayed there. At night, he pressed the feet of the old patients and in the morning distributed breakfast to everyone with his hands and himself sat with them and ate.

Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar, who arrived at the cataract camp held here after giving three new gifts to Civil Hospital Hazira at a cost of Rs 80 lakh, stayed overnight at Hazira Hospital with the patients. During this, till late night, he served the elderly patients by pressing their feet and in the morning, gave them tea and breakfast with his hands. Seeing this service of the Energy Minister, the patients admitted here were also seen getting emotional.

On the first day of the free camp held at Hazira Civil Hospital in Tomar's assembly constituency Gwalior, 7 cataract operations were done and 65 registrations were done. The Power Minister said that an operation theatre, two blood dialysis units and mechanized laundry have been started for the treatment of eyes in the hospital. Tomar said that he has stayed overnight in the hospital itself to understand the problems of the patients. Power Minister Tomar claimed that a lot of work has been done in the field of health in suburban Gwalior. The civil hospital has improved, and about one thousand patients come to the OPD every day. With this, the work of the new building of Birla Nagar Maternity Home is in the final stage. Sanjeevani clinics are being opened near every ward.
