Osmanabad: Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray, who is campaigning for Maharashtra Assembly elections 2019, has said that if we did not support the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the government in Maharashtra would have fallen. Addressing Shiv Sena's election rally in Osmanabad in the state, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray said, 'If the BJP government had not supported the BJP in Maharashtra, the government would have collapsed.

Uddhav Thackeray has further said that the BJP government is running because of Shiv Sena's support. On the statement of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar regarding the riots in Mumbai after the disputed structure was demolished in Ayodhya, the Shiv Sena chief said, 'It was a mistake to arrest Balasaheb Thackeray at that time, if Ajit Pawar says Why don't they apologize for their statement?

Uddhav Thackeray questioned Ajit Pawar that 'Mumbai's move was lit by putting doors during the Mumbai riots. Why did you not take action at that time, why did you not fire? Shiv Sena protected Hindus in Mumbai. Uddhav said, the people of Maharashtra all know how NCP chief Sharad Pawar toppled Vasantdada Patil's government. The same was done with the Atal Bihari Vajpayee-led government.
