Mumbai: A decision of the Election Commission of India has dealt a big blow to the Shiv Sena's Uddhav Thackeray faction on Saturday. In fact, the Election Commission has banned the use of the party's name and symbol by both the Shiv Sena's Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde-led factions in the by-elections to the Andheri East assembly seat. In the past, the Election Commission has given this clear decision and as soon as this decision came to the fore, Shiv Sena leader and former minister Aaditya Thackeray lashed out at the Shinde faction.

In fact, Aditya Thackeray said that "The people of Maharashtra will not tolerate the despicable work done by the traitors to freeze the name and symbol of Shiv Sena." Yes, Aditya Thackeray said in a tweet, "Corrupt traitors have today done a despicable and shameless act of freezing the name and symbol of Shiv Sena. The people of Maharashtra will not tolerate this. We will fight and win! We are with the truth! Satyameva Jayate!''

Let us tell you that since the rebellion, the leaders of the Uddhav faction call the leaders of the Shinde faction traitors. Let us also inform you that in the background of claims of name and symbol by both the factions of the party, by issuing an interim order, the Election Commission has asked both of them that, 'They will give three members for their respective parties till Monday'. Suggest three new names and symbols. The commission will allow them to use either of the names and symbols suggested by the two factions.
