Mumbai: Almost ten days after the results of Maharashtra Assembly Election 2019, the political turmoil for the post of Chief Minister in Maharashtra is not being named. With the passing of days, the Shiv Sena has been sharpening its stance and it is adamant that the Chief Minister in Maharashtra will be a Shiv Sena candidate this time.

Senior party leader Sanjay Raut said that the party is on the verge of forming a government in the state, it also has the required majority figure. The Shiv Sena had won 56 seats this time, but if it gets an alliance with the Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party, then it can reach very close to the required figure to form the government. Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut said in his statement that we have the support of a total of 170 MLAs. The number of supporting MLAs can increase to 175.

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut quipped that even though BJP should book race course and Wankhede Stadium to make its CM, the next CM of Maharashtra will be of Shiv Sena. The Shiv Sena has shown tough attitude against the BJP in its mouthpiece Saamna amidst this boast. The party wrote that if we had not supported the BJP in the elections, it would not have won even 75 seats.
