Mumbai: Shiv Sena's stance on the 50-50 formula for government formation in Maharashtra is getting sharper day by day. On Friday, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has said that if the Shiv Sena wants it, it will gather the necessary data to form the government. Raut further said, 'If the Shiv Sena wants it, it will gather the necessary strength to form a stable government in the state. The people have given the mandate to form a government based on 50-50 formula in the state. They want a chief minister from the Shiv Sena.

Earlier on Thursday, Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray said in the Legislature Party meeting that we are not hungry for power, but what happened to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) should be maintained. The post of CM does not always stand for any one person. Our strength is good. The post of Chief Minister is our right and this is our stubbornness.

Uddhav Thackeray had said that what has been prescribed at the time of the 50-50 formula at the time of the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP is not valid, so what to talk about. There will be no fresh talk that was set up, it will start with that. He told his MLAs that you will not take any undue step for power, I am sure.
