Mumbai: Shiv Sena has questioned the leadership ability of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi in an editorial in its mouthpiece 'Saamana'. Terming the UPA as an NGO, Shiv Sena has advocated handing over its leadership to Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar. After questioning Rahul's leadership, it will be interesting to see what effect Shiv Sena's move has on the Mahavikas Aghadi government of Maharashtra.

In Maharashtra, Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress have formed a government together. Currently, UPA's Bagdour is in the hands of Sonia Gandhi, the interim president of Congress. In the editorial, the Shiv Sena has said that until all the parties of UPA are involved to oppose the BJP, the Opposition will appear in front of the government. Shiv Sena further said that Priyanka Gandhi was detained on the Delhi road, mocked Rahul Gandhi, here in Maharashtra the government is being stopped from working, it is completely against democracy.

Taking a dig at the opposition, the Shiv Sena wrote in its editorial that, farmers are protesting on the borders of Delhi. The ruling party is not worried about this movement. This attitude of the government is due to weak opposition. The present opposition is completely breathless, the position of the opposition is like assuming the post of head of a barren village.
