Patna: Preparations for Bihar assembly elections have now reached their final stages. The process of enrolment for the first phase has been completed. Shiv Sena says, the party will take up candidates for 40-50 seats. At present, the party has not aligned with any party. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut was asked whether Shiv Sena, along with nationalist Congress Party (NCP), would contest elections in Bihar.

Replying to this, he said, "Shiv Sena will contest elections in 40-50 seats, so far there has been no talk about any alliance with anyone. I will go to Patna next week. Local parties, including Pappu Yadav, want to talk to us. Earlier, Raut had said on October 9, "Shiv Sena can take up 50 seats in the forthcoming Bihar elections. Maharashtra's CM Uddhav Thackeray and Minister Aditya Thackeray will address virtual rallies. '

Shiv Sena has sent a list of campaigners to the Election Commission for bihar elections, including party chief Uddhav Thackeray and Aditya Thackeray as well as party spokespersons Sanjay Raut, Priyanka Chaturvedi, Industry Minister Subhash Desai, former MP Chandrakant Khayre, MP Anil Desai, Vinayak Raut, Arvind Sawant Gulabrao Patil, Rajkumar Bafana, Rahul Shewale, Kripal Tumane, Sunil Chittagong, Yograj Sharma, Kauslendra Sharma , the names of Vinay Shukla, Gulab Dubey, Akhilesh Tiwari and Ashok Tiwari.
