A horrific incident comes to light of one-sided affair from Uttar Pradesh where a man slit the throat of girl at Azamgarh railway station on Thursday. According to the police there was any dispute between the two as they got off a train, coming from Mumbai, at Azamgarh station.
As per the official, the 22-year-old man first slit the girl's throat with a sharp weapon and then injured himself. The passengers informed the local police and arranged for an ambulance. The accused has been admitted to a hospital for treatment. The 18-year-old resident of Jahanaganj, and the accused is a resident of Bilariaganj. The accused has been identified as Dhananjay Paswan, was in love with the girl.
The treatment of the injured lover is going on in the district hospital.As per the information they were returning home from Mumbai by Godan Express train. The accused was in love with the girl, who belonged to Dhaurhara village of Bilariaganj police station area. He had eloped with the girl about five months back. They had reached Azamgarh railway station on Thursday evening where his parents and some other family members were present. The man started pressurizing the girl to elope with him but after his relatives started protesting.
His girlfriend several times on her neck with a knife. Her relatives took the girl to a private hospital. The girl died on the way. The relatives went to Bilariaganj with the dead body. While the accused was admitted in a district hospital where he revealed that both had got married 5 months back in a temple. They were running for their life and relocating in order to not get caught. When he realized that he would be separated from his girlfriend, he tried to kill himself after killing her.
