Gwalior: The body of a 9-year-old minor girl, who went missing on June 26 in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior, was found on Tuesday morning. The semi-naked body of the girl was found in the Hazira area. The police suspect that after the rape, the culprit killed her by throwing a stone on her head. The case pertains to Shiv Nagar Colony under the Hazira police station area. Two days ago, the child was seen on the CCTV taking her to her relative. Police have registered a case against the culprit and launched a search operation for him. Not only this but a reward of 10 thousand rupees has also been announced for the offender.
On the afternoon of June 26, the 9-year-old girl, a resident of Shiv Nagar Colony in Hazira, was playing outside the house with some children. The girl, who had gone out of the house to play, suddenly went missing in the afternoon. When he did not return home, the family searched for her and could not find anything about her. Late in the night, the family members reached Hazira police station and complained about it. Police registered a case of kidnapping and scanned the CCTV camera installed in the vicinity in which a man was seen carrying the minor girl.
When the family members saw the CCTV footage here, he was identified as the girl's grandfather Kalla alias Kallu Rathod. In fact, Kalla Rathore is seen taking away the minor girl. The child is going with the culprit leisurely. Probably, the culprit assured to give the child chocolate, after which, the child went with the criminal. The police raided the house of a relative, Kalla, on the basis of CCTV, but could not find any trace of him. The case is now being investigated by the police.
