Maharajganj: A shocking case of crime is reported from Maharajganj district of Gorakhpur division. A middle-aged man was killed and his body was hung from a tree in Krit Pipra village of Kotwali police station area. On Saturday morning, the villagers immediately informed the local police about the dead body hanging on the tree. Police reached the spot after getting the information and brought the body down from the tree and started identifying it. The deceased was identified as Rama (50), a resident of Dharampur village in Chowk police station area, from the Aadhaar card found in his pocket.
According to the information received from the sources, immediately after getting the information from the police, the family immediately reached the spot and started crying in roar. In the presence of relatives, the police sent a body of the body and sent it for postmortem.
For information, let us tell you that some people of the village had gone to defecation in the morning towards east direction of Pipra village in Kotwali police station area. The police were informed about seeing the dead body of a person hanging on a tree on the garden. The family members said that Rama left for the market on Friday evening, since then he did not return home. At the same time, Sadar Kotwal Sarvesh Kumar Singh said that the matter is being investigated. The evidence found on the spot indicates murder.
