Finally after preparing for two years, Shraddha Kapoor has started shooting for Badminton champion Saina Nehwal's biopic. Shooting was started in the past weekend in Mumbai. Amol Gupte, who directed films like Stanley's box, Havahavai and Snif is now directing the biopic. Shraddha took around two years to learn the small things about badminton to portray the role of Saina in the film.

Regarding the shooting of the film, Shraddha wrote - we are starting shooting. I am very excited to start this new journey. I want best wishes from you." Shraddha is seen like Saina at the shooting spot, like Saina, mole on her cheek, is also visible.

Shraddha, along with Director Amol Gupte and producer Bhushan Kumar holding the film's clap board, shared a picture on Instagram Stories. During the shoot, Shraddha appeared with Saina's father Dr Harvir Singh and mother Usha.

After passing through flop films for a long time, Shraddha has given some relief to the success of her movie 'Stri' in the past. However, last week, 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' turned her back once again, which does not seem to be doing charisma at the box office. Saina's story will be another biopic of Shraddha. Earlier in 2016, Shraddha played the role of Hasina parkar in the biopic, who is the sister of the terrorist and underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. The film was flop.
