There have been a lot of discussions about the remake of Bollywood hit Andhadhun. Recently, Nithiin announced a slew of exciting projects, which made his fans very pleasant and also raised the rarity in the experts and movie buffs with his selection. After doing Rang De with Venky Atluri, the actor will work on his next project, which is the Telugu remake of Bollywood blockbuster film Andhadhun. There has been a curiosity about who will reprise Tabu’s role in the Telugu remake.  Several names popped up, from Ramya Krishna to Nayanthara for this role, yet there is no certainty who would reprise in the Telugu remake.

With many names, Shriya Saran’s name was also constantly flowing in news for this role in the Telugu remake. However, finally, the actress finally broke her silence about it and confirmed in an interview that she has been approached for the role. Expressing her views to a leading daily about the same, Shriya said, “Yes, I was approached for the role and there were some talks that took place too but nothing has been finalized yet. Shootings have been halted, theatres are shut and we don’t know when things will get back on track. Also, I live in Barcelona and I’ll need to fly down to India if shooting were to resume. So there are a lot of logistics yet to be worked out (sic.)”

The Nithiin starrer Andhadhun will be helmed by Merlapaka Gandhi. This Telugu remake will be granted by Tagore Madhu and will be financed under Nithiin’s home banner Sreshth movies. The shooting will be shot extensively in Pondicherry.
