Shruti Haasan is planning a comeback in Telugu cinema. She was last seen in Katamarayudu which released two years ago. Shruti is now in talks with two prominent directors in Tollywood. Talking to the media, the official spokesperson for the actress said “Talks regarding the project are currently underway. There has not been any confirmation as of now. More details could be expected in the coming days.” 'Yes, I heard the narration of a couple of scripts. They will be finalized shortly,' Shruti told the media. Director Koratala Siva approached her for his new film with Megastar Chiranjeevi. But nothing has been finalized yet. Shruti is game for acting senior stars like Chiru.

The movie will be bankrolled jointly by Ram Charan under his banner Konidela Production Company in association with Matinee Entertainment. If things work out as per plan, the film will mark the first time association of megastar and Koratala Siva and, Chiru and Shruti. There were reports that Nayanthara was in talks to play the leading lady opposite Chiru in the film. However, it seems that Nayan’s role was later offered to Shruti.
Currently, Shruti Haasan had also been occupied with her talk show titled Hello Sago, that came to an end two months back. The chat show premiered in October last year and concluded in January. The show witnessed celebrities like Akshara Haasan, RJ Balaji, Vijay Sethupati, Shankar and Dr. K Sathya Lakshmi attending as guests.
