The unfortunate incident happened in Vadodara where a fan in rush to meet Shahrukh Khan during his train journey lost his life. Sidharth Malhotra considers it’s a sad accident but no one has done it intentionally.

The Ek Villain actor said, “It depends where you are travelling if you are travelling to a place where people know you then one can't do much activities or anything that openly. It's very unfortunate. It's very sad. I don't know the exact details so I can't say much.”

"I think all of us have the intention to promote our films. We have been marketing films, going out to promote, it's a norm. I was not there to experience and to see what happened (but) I read about it. It's a very sad and unfortunate. It's an accident and no one has done it intentionally, “he further said.

Sidharth was asked to say something on the clash of Raees and Kaabil, “I want to see both the films. In college days we used to see one film after the other. Whichever film's ticket I get first I will watch it, " he said in last.
